 Born and raised in Memphis, TN, Protégé sets out to separate himself from the stereotypical sound that’s expected out of his city. Often compared to Big K.R.I.T., he sets out to paint vivid illustrations with deep, emotion filled songs detailing his life experiences. Armed with witty wordplay, massive metaphors and a true love and appreciation for hip hop, Protégé attempts to navigate his way through Hip Hop history and place his name among the greats.
