Growing up in a small town in the middle of Norway, Amanda Kamara dreamt big from an early age. Amanda was drawn towards all things music, and began performing in her hometown from age 10. And with access to her mothers library of music Amanda was introduced to great musicians in all genres. Especially falling in love with the tunes of Michael Jackson, Marvin Gaye and The Queen of Soul, Aretha Franklin. 
 Finding inspiration from different genres, Amanda makes honest music that makes you feel and think. She often adresses serious topics, but her message is always a positive one. With elements from soul, r&b and disco combined with catchy melodies, Amanda Kamara and her band brings people together. 
 Her first single “Limbo” (2017), introduced the world to her musical universe, and her dreamy genre fluid sound.   In february 2018 she released her second single "Can't sing under water", a song about fighting the demons that sometimes surrounds us.  With her captivating stage presence and hot vocals, the Norwegian singer also landed a role in the hit musical "The Book of Mormon" (2017) and the David Bowie musical "Lazarus" (2019), among others at Det Norske Teatret, Oslo, Norway - adding almost 500 shows to her merits.
