Skinner Project was formed in early 2017 by the multi instrumentalist Leo Skinner in Sao Paulo, Brazil. It started as an one-man band, inspired by artists like Rush, Porcupine Tree and Depeche Mode, as a result it's a band that explores all the possibilities that music can provide. The first Ep, Stoic Waves: Voyage I was released at the end of 2017 with three songs that showcases the band taking its first steps. Then, two years later Stoic Waves: Voyage II was released, an EP with six songs in it, that completes the journey through the styles explored in these two works. 2021 - Sound Connections album was released, here the band explores new territories and discovers its own identity, fully inspired by the sound of retrowave and the virtuosity of progressive rock, creating what Leo Skinner likes to call "The Skinner's Sound". In 2023, after their debut show, the band transtions from being a solo project to a collaborative one, adding four members to the lineup: Alexandre Ferronato, Gui Beltrame, Leo Nascimento and Joey Max - respectively - guitars, drums and synthetizers. Now They're back in the studio to recording their next album, called "To Earth, with Love", which again, improves the best from previous works and presents a new colour to their musical palette!
