Hey Y'all, it's Zach. A bit about me. When I was 10 years old, I took a guitar lesson with my Dad's Takamine and ended up writing my first song that same night. Music has been my closest companion ever since. I love to share the fruits of my inner adventures through my recordings and live performance. I was born and raised in Colorado and proud to be from here. I grew up in the mountains and frequently feel the calling to get back into nature. I love forests. I love oceans. I love jumping into cold water. I love to start my mornings with a coffee, book, and journal. As far as musical influences go, I'm an omnivorous listener. My first heroes were José Gonzalez and Jack Johnson, alongside early 2000's hip-hop artists (DMX, 50 Cent) and pop punk bands (Blink-182, Eve 6). Since then, my tastes have expanded into all the nooks and crannies of the musical landscape, everything from Four Tet, to Kendrick Lamar, to John Prine, to Grimes and back again. When you hear my music, I want you to hear an artist who draws from many creative wells, someone who strives to push beyond their own creative boundaries and refuses to limit their expression. Sometimes my muse leads me to write a folky love song ("The Harvest," "Take to the Floor") and other times it compels me to dish up societal critique over a homemade beat ("Deeper Meaning," "The Garden").
