Born in upstate New York, raised in Texas, spent my 20s in LA and relocated to Berlin in 2008. Became a German citizen this year. Played in bands in El Paso since I was in high school, formed the band "Penny" in LA in 2000, became solo artist Erik Penny in 2003. Released since then: 6 full-length albums, 2 EPs, many singles. Wrote lyrics and provided vocals for many songs featured in German TV and film. Live in Berlin with my lovely/talented wife and 2 awesome kids, and continue to make music and play shows and paint and work in a variety of things...
