2 brothers passionate about music and out to cause a stir with as much beautiful noise as possible! Strong hooks, addictive grooves and powerful riffs. Bear Witness are a Brighton based Electronic alt-rock duo made up of brothers Matt and Alex Georgiou. They have been described as having the soul of Jeff Buckley, energy of the Foo Fighters, and melodic affinity of Twenty One Pilots. Bear Witness have gone from strength to strength in the last few years. Receiving support from BBC Radio 1, and working with GRAMMY nominated producer Joel Hamilton (The Black Keys, Highly Suspect) and GRAMMY winning mastering engineer Adam Ayan. The band have combined a hard rock edge with irresistible grooves and soulful melodies that bounce around your head for days. With wide—ranging influences that include Frank Ocean and The Weeknd, they aim to smash rock together with many outside genres, often pairing snarling guitars with the sampled beats and soft synths of alt-R’n’B. '22 and ‘23 has seen the pair feature on Alyx Holcombe's 'Introducing Rock' show on Radio 1; a BBC Introducing showcase; finish as Isle of Wight Festival New Blood finalists; undertake two BBC Introducing collaborations and secure multiple Introducing radio plays (amongst other stations). The duo also film, direct and edit all their music videos themselves; determined to create work that is not just sonically exciting, but visually exciting. This band has a point to prove, and they aren’t stopping any time soon.
