-02: Karelian Warcry In December Matti, Sami and Anttipekka started to play together in Anttipekkas parents garage in Kouvola. The name ”Karelian Warcry” was launched. The band grew roots that can't be torn. -03: Draft There was a need for a lead-guitarist. Jussi joined the band and he started to compose songs with Sami and Matti. Sami left the band. Henrik took over the bass. -04: Mobilizations Spring 2004; the band gave birth to the first demo-recording. Recording session was held in the Henrik's sauna. Sami did quest vocals for the song ”Ikirouta”. -05: Public Manifestations ”Kylmä rautainen” was self-released. 100 handnumbered copies were printed. First gigs were played. Seven Gates of Hell re-released 500 copies of the album. -06 - 09: Evacuation In November 2007 ”Verinen taival, päättymätön tie” was recorded. Only few public appearances. The bands roots also scattered around the land. -10: Engagement Frontlines were re-organized and ”Verinen taival, päättymätön tie” finally sees the daylight. -11: Crafting Only couple of live performances were held. The band concentrated on rehearsing and demorecordings of the songs of the upcoming album. -12: Shattered Utinkatu 52 was torn down and the band had to find a new place to rehearse. Recordings of the upcoming album began slow. No gigs. -13: Tar Recordings continued slowly. Only one public live performance was made with Rotting Christ and RebelHead. -14: Devastation M. Mikkonen died in his home 9.8.2014.
