Биография
The Words We Use was originally a 6 piece post-hardcore band formed in 2011 hailing from New Haven, CT. Thinning out to a 5 piece in 2013, the band has released 2 EP’s and 3 singles to date as well as a few music videos. Though various lineup changes plagued the bands early career, they were able to enjoy mediocre success after working with Caleb Shomo (Attack Attack!/Beartooth) on their first single, and Memphis May Fires’ Jake Garland and Chango Studios’ Cameron Mizell for the EP entitled “Morals” (2012). After more lineup changes ensued, the band released the 2013 single “Absence” recorded at Killswitch Engage’s Zing Studios and produced by Jim Fogarty. They toured and soon after released 2015’s sophomore EP, “Entitlement” (2015). The EP, produced by Joey Sturgis (Attack Attack!/Sleeping With Sirens/The Devil Wears Prada/Confide/Asking Alexandria) and mixed and mastered by both Miami Dolphin & TAKU, featured the single “Love Is War” with special guest Mikey Sawyer of the band Miss Fortune. After another round of touring, they called it quits in 2018 after releasing their last single to date, a previously unreleased track off the Entitlement EP, “Rise Or Fall” (2019), exclusively on Bandcamp.com to their fans for free. Their music can still be found on streaming sources all over.
