Laso is based out of Los Angeles, born in North East Africa but his family originated from Palestine. He started writing after the death of his mother, making that his motivation to create. Balloons symbolizes the uplifting but still dark spirits that he demonstrates in his music. 'Fly like Balloons ' , his latest upcoming project - having two meanings. The obvious one, swag one carries, fly like balloons. The second, deeper meaning is a back story after the passing of his mother. Balloons brings hope, as he says... " Once you let a balloon go, the only place it goes is up" , relating to letting go of his mother and other significant people he lost - we can all relate to that as we've lost a loved one. The music he creates can’t be classified as hip hop or r&b , it’s more than that. He provides a unique sound, almost comparable to a a PARTYNEXTDOOR with a mix of MEEK MILL. You can hear the pain of heartbreak in his voice and relatable lyrics. Be on the lookout for his project FLB2 that is set to release before the end of 2019.
