Let this be written for the sake
Of those alive in future days
So people He has yet to make
Will to the LORD lift up their praise
From holy heights the LORD looked down
To view the earth from heaven high
That He might hear the pris'ner's groan
And free them who are doomed to die
That Zion may the LORD's name tell
Jerusalem His praise record
When gathered are the peoples all
And kingdoms join to serve the LORD
