Amed group was a musical group of NÇM in Istanbul. It was established in 1988 in the city of Ankara with medical students. At that time, the members of the Amed Group were: Fikri Kutlay, Ahmet Kaya, Serhat Karakas (he left the Deng Azadi group and joined the Amed Group) Merdan, Mehmet Gül(Memo)irkan çelik, Memet Kaya, Evin, Süleyman Gültekin. prepared and released the name Fire and Man. Following this work, the most famous Cassette called Derguş was prepared. Dergush was sold at around 400,000. Amed Group did not produce this product. Group members Serhat, Süleyman and Memo went to Europe and 3 years later Serhat, Fikri, Ahmet, Memo and Süleyman formed a group called Char Newa.
