Because of grace I came to know
Because of sin where I would go
Forever there from God concealed
If I refused what he revealed
Through grace I heard God gave his son
Who died for sins that I had done
And paid the debt that long was due
His cross had done what I could not do
Because of grace I'm pressing onward
With joy I'll face what comes my way
When troubles mount and dark clouds surround me
Because of grace they just fade away
When things in life that don't seem fair
Bring aches and pains so hard to bear
And I feel so weak that I can't go on
Because of grace I am made strong
