When it's time to be serious and to think of how I've lived my life
When it all comes down and I've got to give account for what I do
Hope I can answer, tell me what about you
A little voice inside would nudge me whispering every day
Gently reminding me don't get caught up in my own way
But did I get it right sometimes I'd get an attitude
I'd do my own thing now I'm asking Him
Did I play the sun or was I like the moon
Did I sing Your song or play my tune
Standing on the Rock or heading for my ruin
One thing for sure is I'll know soon
My life my destiny I take the reins in my own hands
Known your reality but when it counts who's the man
I'd give you credit still I'm contemplating checking in
