Hand of Melkor is formed in Dublin in 2022 by the three founding members, Joe, Riki and Libero. The sound is mainly black metal with inspiration drawn from thrash and death metal. The members come from different cultural backgrounds and countries which brings a unique sound to life. The name of the band is inspired by the work of J.R.R Tolkien and the lyrics explore paganism and mythology.
