When you reflect on the past, you can see the future
It's full of your present actions so pay attention to them
If you know what you're doing, you know where you're going
It isn't a mystery when you see a river flowing
So much confusion
Is brought about because we don't know what to do with
Our free time and I know it seems like
Nothing is important and that's something I can't deny
I won't say you're not wrong
But I'll say there's a better and a worse way to get along
And if you focus on the former
You'll find that your life gets a little bit warmer
And that's dope cause it means we have control
Take the reins, grab and hold, or if you want let them go
We're all here until we're not
Until the ashes get spread or we're dead in a plot
You act like a mortal in all that you fear
Yet you think that it's guaranteed you will be here
You'll get to it tomorrow cause right now you're too busy
But then life passes by and that's it you're just history
And probably not even that
A faceless nameless space beneath the grass
Man it's so brutal
You had sufficient time but didn't make it useful
Wondering where did your youth go
The same place that your age now is going to go
Obscurity, oblivion
So take advantage of the now or just forget it then
Cause right now's your chance man not some advanced plan
Where you'll live a life that you can't stand
So decide right now make the change
Or do like everybody else and wait until it's too late
