When bringing dear Elton to live sonically You'll hear how important the piano sound was It was about going to different studios and choosing a piano This piano to be able to play that bridge that, the instrumental Was so important, on what notes were played, having an ode Elton John But still being very much who I am as a piano player, so there was a mix between the two If you listen closely to the track, you'll hear Layers upon layers of my friends who were in the studio and us doing a vibe track Now vibe track is when there's just a bit of music playing But you just start like cheering and "woo, yeah" So between Mark, Renee, Marla, myself, we were all in there Just whistling and in the bridge you'll hear us all cheering like it's complete chaos And one of my favourite memories on this song Actually was when Marla and I were sitting there Doing the very last part of the bridge, the "ooh-ooh-ooh" We were doing these Opera sounds, and every time we'd have to hold it Honestly, I laugh thinking about it now, because we were layering upon layering And we'd go, "Should we do another layer?", it goes "ooh-ooh-ooh" And we'd both have to hold and if one of us didn't we'd have to do it again So, it made us laugh so much So have a listen to the chaos in that there's order but there's I loved the amount of chaos with the tempo changes leading into that bridge And then just having my friends all a part of it, us just making a lot of noise
