Eylem has exploded back onto the Turkish music scene, igniting a whole new generation of fans, as well as delighting existing ones, with her vibrant and passionate multicultural sound. Her latest hit, Sersem, is a dancefloor filling ode to girl power, featuring an exuberant combination of Turkish and Western sounds. Throughout her career, Eylem has drawn on her mixed heritage - born in the UK to Turkish parents - to create fresh sounds that speak to the modern citizen of the world. Eylem has said that, growing up, she felt out of place in both cultures but she learnt to embrace both and has created an amazing fusion sound that enables other people from mixed cultures to feel represented in the mainstream.
