Luca Cataldo (Ka:lu) is a multidisciplinary artist that focuses his works on audiovisual installation, big projections, vjing, music production and djing. He is the co-founder of the Italian organic, ethno, downtempo music label Hupupa Record and the visual labels Antica Proietteria // LEDDERIA3000 specialized on the use of lights and projections in site-specific contexts. Creating his own original style, Ka:lu has signed collaboration with artists as Zuma Dyonis, Dibidabo, Kaob, Thommie G, UNAM, The Oddness and plus, releasing on different labels around the globe such as Baikal Nomads [RU] | MŎNɅDɅ [GERMANY] | Tehnika Molodeji [RU] | Sofa Beats [DENMARK] | Shango Rec [GREECE] | Trndmsk [GERMANY] | Cosmovision Rec [CANADA] | O’Tawa Rec [FRANCE] | WAYU Rec [USA] | Plurpura Records [MEXICO] and more. 2023 is the year of his new EPs forthcoming on LEVELDVA [RU], OTAWA [FRANCE] and Tehnika Molodeji [RU]; so stick around for a while new vibes are just around the corner! Through his arts, as in music, he always try to express the believe into sounds as universal language, a way to get in meditation, a tool to understand where we are coming from, where we are, where we are going.
