A moment is here
Then it goes away
And decisions we make
Every single day
As often as I can
I strive, and try to get it right
One thing I've learned
It didn't take too long
On the first attempt
I'm probably gonna get it wrong
But when they've tallied up the count
I hope it evens out

I'm overwhelmed by "What if?"
The gamble is there
You can lose control
Betting all of your chips
On what you think you know
But I prefer to keep my cool
A slow, and steady hand
'Cause if you understand
Then there's no excuse
Gotta go into it
Knowing you might lose
And it won't matter if
You have the best constructed plan
You're gonna play your part
So, play it well because you can
