Everybody knows the stories of those DJ’s who started their careers in some abandoned attic or basement. Yeah, Wonderface is the same old story. But, with better special effects and a way better soundtrack. Mr. Wonder and Fritz The Face met each other in Amsterdam, while escaping those attics and spending all of their nights in the club. After throwing shade for a couple of months, true story, they started talking and not long after that, making music together. We would like to tell you what kind of music, but their blend of Pop, Dancehall, Future House, Future Bass and Trap doesn’t have a name yet. But with all those “Future” stuff in there, we maybe should just call it ‘Future”. Yes, like the rapper. But without the Gucci flip flops. Which makes sense: With sets during festivals like Open Air, Bungalup and Vunzige Deuntjes they need some solid footwear from jumping up and down the stage. Oh, and the name of that last festival sounds better when you’re Dutch, sorry about that. Anyway. After a massive bootleg of Eminem and Rihanna’s ‘Monster’ they produced M.O.’s hit ‘Who Do You Think off’. Nobody will ever know that though, since they got screwed over harder than Loki in The Avengers. But they bounced back and are now ready to finally make a name for themselves. Well yeah, they already have a name, we know, but now there’s music to back it all up. There is just no way you can escape the sound of Wonderface. And trust us: You wouldn’t even want to.
