True to their name, which translates into plus-minus, Zaed-Naes oscillates across several elements. Featuring guest musicians or vocalists, their project derives its energy from constant motion. Since 2013, Zaed-Naes who contributed to the emergence of the middle eastern underground music scene, has been creating experimental electroacoustic performances throughout intimate venues and festivals. Narrowing down the group's style proves difficult, between Basel Naouri, Amjad Shahrour, and Ammar Urabi, they bring together elements of jazz, trip-hop, loop-based electronica, and post-rock to form a unique sound -guided by local and regional influences.
