"Blessed with a sense of the epic..." - CLASH Magazine The Lonely Together are a universal dream rock band from Edinburgh, Scotland. Founded on Mike Baillie's emotive songwriting, the band have set a high standard for an independent outfit, working out of some of Scotland and America’s best studios and touring with the likes of Snow Patrol, Augustana, Luke Sital-Singh, Idlewild, Delays, Katie Malco and more. 2021's, 'Everything Viewed Backwards Through The Rearviewmirror' was a bold statement for a debut record - a shimmering 14-track tower of an album, made with love at Glasgow's revered CaVa Sound Studios. Through its' release , the band would find their way to radio with singles such as 'Congregation', 'Shots Fired...' and 'Keep A Secret', amongst others and would go on to be championed by BBC 6Music broadcasting legend, Steve Lamacq. Sophomore record, 'Endless Sunset Oblivion' is set to follow, in the summer of 2023 - a vital, existential follow-up, arguably featuring Baillie's best work to date. Recorded at Post Electric Studios, Edinburgh with Rod Jones (Idlewild/Hamish Hawk/Katie Gregson-MacLeod) and featuring Jonny Scott (CHVRCHES/The Kills) and The Cairn String Quartet, it's fair to say that The Lonely Together are swinging for the back fence.
