That tinge in the air

Those looks of despair
People can live a lie
For as long as they want to try
Surging into the night
Keeping Truth from sight
But dawn brings new light
A strong golden might
Courage can save the day
Make the lies go away

To writhe in fear

These rodents of unusual size
Have too many seats at the table.
We might need to flip the whole thing
