Well, yeah, "Victorious", uh, started off I think with the riff I was just in my studio in Byron Bay And I just started playing guitar for about 20 minutes And that riff kinda came out I had everything set up in one room In the control room I have like a drum kit there, a guitar there and the bass And so I just jumped on the drums and I just Started doing this kind of, uh, humorous rack tom fills And then kind of sang in this humorous DO-esque style way And did these, the big chorus Uh, with, with Victorious and then the theme just kind of It's like it was all just made up on the spot And I didn't intentionally set out to write a song called "Victorious" It just came out and then I just wrote everything around the word victorious And it all just kind of like fell into place Brendan O'Brien and, uhm, Josh Freese, yeah They're just like loving the fills and the whole, the vibe of it And the shuffling beat has that kind of galloping Wolfmother vibe That you're like on a horse galloping through the forest somewhere And going to a Pocahontas TP edible garden festival in Topanga Canyon On a medieval weekend or something It's got that kind of vibe so, so they're, they're into it And, uhm, and then they decide to layer up the drums So you can hear it's like everything is layered up twice and, uh, that was it We just, you know took a, took a couple of days to do that song It was really, uh, a fast way of working Which was great
