I sense the dawn approaching me.
I've been waiting, shrouded within shadows.
It's reminding me of when I used to not care, not at all .
The future shone so brightly back then.
Have I always walked this path strewn to the side?
I clung mindlessly,
I held faith in that I would be better off on my own.

Believing that I was on the right pathway, that I'd not fallen.
The night falls,

What was forgotten cant yet be found I wanted to be strong,
Find strength within so I could protect
Everyone, rise to the cause, striking my enemies.
But vengeance had conquered me then.
I'll close my eyes so I won't see the truth underneath.

Can't always be blinded is it best for me
To turn the other way, shutting out my past?.
Is it too late to reclaim the past that I'd forsaken?
