Second track on the album is called "Daughter" The song was based around an argument We wanted it to sound really affected and abrasive In it-in its construction and in its sound And we did that by using a chaos part We have the song that was finger-cooking, doo-wop kind of song We love bands like OutKast with like "Hey Ya!" and stuff like that But then we wanted to destroy it a bit And, so we used this chaos part Sending the whole track through the chaos part On the part we could manipulate the sound Which was basically the bass, some keys, and some rhythm By playing with that, you got a really bottom-end bass sound And then we relayed that, and then drummed, and played more guitars and vocal Lyrically, it's about the struggle you have with the choices you make And your moral compass or lack of one We-we really work the whole thing around The first lyric we wrote, which was "I forgot I was a daughter" Which kind of explains it all
