IN QUIET GROVE
It was in quiet grove it all began
When God and Jesus Christ appeared to man
Revealing precious truths so long withheld
It was a miracle that day.
It was a time the world would not forget
That sacred day when earth and heaven met
When in response to Joseph's humble words
The gospel fullness was restored
And since that day each worthy one
Is called to teach his word
Until the time when every child of God upon the earth
Has heard the gospel plan that was restored to man.
I too have asked of God as Joseph did
That I might know the truth of all he said
In prayerful moments when my heart is full
He sends a witness to my soul.
Lord help me share these things that I believe
Lead me to humble hearts who will receive
Then let the spirit in me testify
That some may find the narrow way.
For I believe each worthy one is called to teach his word
Until the time when every child of God upon the earth
Has heard the gospel plan that was restored to man.
