It's-it was a time in my life that, you know, I was leaving home
I had already done the "leaving home for college" thing
But I was an hour away
My college was an hour away from my home, so
Whenever, whenever I'm singing that song, I'm just, uh
I just think of my mom, and you know, that-that big move to-
When I left for LA or when I left for, you know, to come live in Nashville, and
Have a house here and make my, make my place here, uhm
It's-it's bittersweet, it's good memories, but it's also hard leaving home
