Twice a week
I go swimming in new town Creek
My nose runs
I begin to cough
My hair and skin
Flake off
I start in Brooklyn
Swim to Queens
Turn around and swim back again
My bones ache
I can hardly speak

It was in the autumn
Three years now
My love and i spoke wedding vows

And all the fish floating belly up
