Ferocity eluding him surrounded in doubt
Lion slumps sadly, breathes a weary sigh out
Familiarity with life's volatile ways
Little mouse reaches out with kindness and says
Look into my eyes and hear what I say
I know what's going on won't look the other way
I recognise the pain in you, can see it in your face
Take hold of my hand I'll lead you out of this place
I don't know why I feel this way
I'm not sure I'll make it through another day
The strength that I had has disappeared from inside
I just want to find a place to curl up and hide
You're not alone we feel you

Lion lifts his heavy head begins to rise
Looks all around him can't believe his eyes
A multitude of creatures spread across the plain
All trying to take away some of his pain
Overwhelmed at this courageous display
He smiles as his tears roll gently away
Strength and pride returning to him once more
He lifts up his chest and lets out a great roar
