Open the sea
Upon the sea is an abyss beckoning
A maelstrom of dreams opens up to me
As my eyes start to distort reality
Watching with doubt
The ocean drown everything that I thought I know
Through my eyes this spiral consumes my soul
And leaves me abandoned amidst the barren unknown
Tear out my eyes, for they're fed only lies
I'm bound to a fate of unenlightenment; I
Face the maelstrom below
Consuming all I know; I
Bury my eyes in the
Sands of surety; I
Break my belief in hope
My soul decays until I
Succumb to the maw
Drawn into the depths beneath the break
The sands are swept to obscurity now
The veil
The veil of truth remains drawn shut to me
The heavens elude me, out of my reach as the maw feeds
Swallowing all that I have perceived
Abandon me beneath the sea
Everything I believed is escaping me
The shadow of the depths consumes all I see
Left with benighted sight, into the evernight I sink.
Blackness of ignorance beckoning me to upheave all that I believed
As the shoreline is eaten away, and is drawn into the ever-descending waves
Without surety left beneath my feet, my will to be is withering
The abyss - the devourer of dreams - hypnotising me to be consumed; I
